This took me forever >_<. I started working on it at the end of August, and finished it today. I spent around 40+ hours on it. It's the first digital portrait I've ever completed, but I plan on doing more because this was fun. I'll just have to figure out a way to finish it faster. I did this with my graphire3 wacom tablet and Photoshop Elements 2. I made a wip image to show how I progressed through this, so I'll post that in my scraps in a sec and then edit this. anyways... I hope you like it! Let me know what you think.

edit: here's the WIP - [link] ... oh, and I forgot to mention before, please full view the drawing!! I put a lot of detail into it.

Wow, I'm so jealous! :O Too good for a first digital portait finished! I love how smooth it is. The hair is really nicely done, the strands are visible and the highlights are nice too! Amy's eyes here are very striking, from her iris to her eyelashes. I like the highlights in her lips as well, and the shading is placed perfectly. Fav! ^o^
